Dr. Michael J. Ezzo has lived in Lansing for 46 years. He has two children: Michael Thomas 22, and Stephanie Catherine 20. Dr. Ezzo is a clinical neuropsychologist and assistant professor at MSU at the Institute for Health Studies. He also provides consulting services helping companies bridge health care and information technology. Dr. Ezzo, recently served as Chief Deputy Director and the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Michigan Department of Community Health and as Management Consultant in the Office of Governor Jennifer M. Granholm. Prior to serving the State of Michigan, he was the Clinical Director of Integro, a mental health clinic in Jackson County and as Vice President of EdExcell, a training company that develops training materials for mental health professionals. He completed the Operating Room Technician Program from LCC, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Doctor of Education degree in counseling psychology with a specialty in Neuropsycholog from Western Michigan University.
